Enjoy a variety of Qi Gong, Yoga, Breathing Mediation and Yin Yoga classes and celebrate spring with us!
We invite you to celebrate spring and the outdoor Yoga season with a variety of yoga classes with us.
Enjoy the view from the Rooftop of NH Collection and immerse yourself into a great programme that prepares you for the beginning of spring.
The programme starts with gentle Qi Gong, followed by a dynamic Flow Yoga class and finishes with a breathing practice, yin yoga and a relaxation.
We will offer a picnic afterwards where we will offer vegetarian/vegan snacks for you to enjoy together.
Come alone or bring a friend, everybody is welcome! Classes are held in English & Portuguese.

11:15 - 11:35 - Qi Gong with Johanna
Greet the day with a gentle Qi gong flow to get our energy moving and boost our immune system.
11.35 - 12.25 - Precision & Flow Yoga with Sara
Enjoy a nice flow - focusing on twists, the perfect way to detox and purify our body.
In a perfect balance of fluid movement and clear alignment, we will flow through this practice helping our body to release locked-in tension, detox, improve digestive function, maintain normal spinal rotation, stimulate circulation, reduce back pain and release stress.
Through a specific sequence of asanas and pranayama, this class can be truly profound and we can maximize the cleansing and strengthening of our whole body & mind. Let's get on the mat and practice some juicy, delicious Yoga twists!

12:40 - 12.50 - Breathing Meditation with Sara
Sara will guide a breathing meditation to awaken more energy in your body as well as to clear any stagnation or blockages you might be holding. You will explore the power of your breath in combination with spinal movement and then be guided into stillness to observe any sensations and aliveness of your body.
12.50-13.30 - Yin Yoga with Johanna
Finally we invite you to find stillness with gently held Yin Yoga positions. Johanna will guide you and as you relax into those positions close to the ground you are invited to extend your breath to get into a peaceful state of mind. This class will give you the opportunity to slow down and observe sensations and emotions as you release tension that is held in the connective tissues (fascia).
12.45 - 13.30 - Closing & Picnic
We will close our gathering by taking a moment to reflect, give us feedback or share your experience. We will offer a small picnic with seasonal fruit, dips & snacks, cake, energy bites and lemonade. You can also bring your own lunch and enjoy your meal with us in the Park and connect with fellow practitioners and teachers in a nice conversation.

Booking terms
We would love to see you joining us for our Outdoor Yoga Season opening. To help us organise this event, we ask that you please have a look at the following terms and conditions. 1) In order to secure your place, the full fee is payable in advance. Payments are non-refundable. Spaces are limited to 15 participants. 2) We reserve the right to change your sessions in the event of a tutor cancellation or bad weather - which is beyond our control (due to illness or other personal reasons). 3) Please bring your own mat. You will be solely responsible for your own belongings at the event. 4) You are obliged to advise the tutors of your sessions of any health issues or injuries which may affect your practice. Please take responsibility for your own health. |
How to find NH COLLECTION LIBERDADE
NH Collection Liberdade is located in the ground floor of Tivoli Shopping centre, only a short walk from Avenida Metro station (blue line). Exit the Metro station at AVENIDA towards your right and cross the street to Tivoli Forum. You will see the entrance of NH Collection Avenida when you walk inside the forum.
In Winter: Enter the Hotel and take the elevator up to the 10th floor (Saramago). As you step out of the elevator turn right, the Yoga room is located at the end of the hallway.
In Summer: take the elevator up to 11th floor, when you step out of the elevator turn right, you will see a swimming pool - walk to your right towards Atico Bar. We will have our Yoga class on the spacious deck, overlooking the city.
